Our services are provided in our offices for all outpatient therapy
sessions and in the child’s home for children at risk of an out-of-home
placement.
1. The Outpatient Services Program
The program and its staff are committed to improving the mental health
and family stability of their clients through a range of treatment services
to address:
- Anxiety-Depression
- Marriage and Family
- Substance Abuse
- Work Related Issues and Crises Debriefing
- Career Counseling
- Anger Management
As well as
- Psychiatric and Psychological Evaluations
Referral Sources
Referrals may be made by the department of social services,
the court system, the school system, the medical community or by
the individual families.

2. The Intensive In-Home Program
The program provides assessment and counseling for Medicaid and non-Medicaid
eligible children who are at risk of out-of-home placement.
Criteria for Acceptance
The child must:
- Be at risk of out-of-home placement or returning from an out-of-home
placement.
- Have DSM IV diagnosis.
- Meet the medical necessity/criteria as defined by Medicaid.
- Have a need of a minimum of five hours of counseling services per
week.
Services
- Identification of the needs of the child and family through the use
of standardized assessment tools.
- Intensive counseling services for the child and the family at a minimum
of five hours per week, with the goal of
- Improving the childs behavior and structuring the home
environment.
- Building
productive and positive child-parent relationships.
- Providing services
to the family through a network with other community agencies.
- 24 hr/day crises interventions

3. Early Intervention Program
This program is designed for children whose emotional, social or behavioral
needs interfere with their relationships with family members, peers
and
teachers. Although the child may not have a medical or psychiatric condition
yet, he/she may be at risk of an out-of-home placement.
Criteria for Acceptance
- Emotional or behavioral difficulties resulting in discord with the
family or authority figures
- Approved by a local Family Assessment and Planning Team for services
Services
- Identifying the childs and familys needs through the
use of standardized assessment tools
- Providing therapy sessions on an as-needed basis
- Increasing effective communication, defusing crises, and stabilizing
the home environment
- Teaching behavior management techniques to reduce the risk of out-of-home
placement
- Developing and implementing an after-care treatment plan to prevent
another out-of-home placement when the child returns from a residential
setting
- Assisting the family in the identification and use of community resources
- 24 hr/day crises interventions

4. The Mentoring Program
The program provides children with weekly, individual, one-on-one therapeutic
attention.
Criteria for Acceptance
- The child must exhibit emotional or social/behavioral
difficulties that interfere with his/her ability to interact with family, peers
or teachers.
Services
- Implementing the CCC treatment plan and engaging in child-specific
activities
- Teaching appropriate social and behavior management skills
and assisting
with school work as needed
- Planning and providing weekly recreational/social activities
and updating
the family regarding activities and progress
